A node's behavior when part of multiple channels

The producer organization (O1) wants to have separate application channels, C1 and C2, for consortia X1 and X2, respectively. This will allow O1 to enter into private transactions with organizations on these channels. Hence, the diagram shows O1's peer, P1, and also hosts chaincode SC2 installed on P1. Organization 01's client application (O1App1), to which P1 belongs, will now be able to transact on Channel-C2 based on logic defined in chaincode SC2.

Node behavior, which is an element of multiple channels, is controlled by the channel configuration for that channel. Channel configurations, CCon1 and CCon2, define the operations available to a node (P1) when it is part of multiple channels, C1 and C2, respectively. Similarly, application O1App1 can now execute transactions on channels C1 and C2 based on chaincode SC1 and SC2, respectively, which is again dictated by the channel configurations, CCon1 and CCon2.
