Going Commando

Since you’ll probably have plenty of spare CPVC sitting around after this project, you might want to trick out your muzzle loader with a nifty shoulder stock. After you’ve built the stock, you may be tempted to shoulder your firearm, lay your cheek against the chamber, and sight down the barrel like Ralphie with his official Red Ryder carbine-action 200-shot range-model air rifle on Christmas morning—but beware: It’s really not well advised to press your face against a thin-walled plastic canister filled with inflammable vapor that you are about to blast with a 300-volt spark.
