Installing a Docker-based developer environment

This type of installation relies on Docker (also known as a container, a computer program that performs OS-level virtualization).

Docker will be used to run all the services needed for Redash, except for Node.js, which will be running locally.

First, you will have to install Docker and Docker Compose. Details can be found at the following link: https://docs.docker.com/install/#server.

Afterwards, you must install Node.js (https://nodejs.org/en/download/).

When Docker, Docker Compose, and Node.js are installed, we can get to Redash itself.

This type of installation is recommended for newcomers to Redash and beginner developers.
