One way you can share the very large files you create when you download a video from your camera is to burn the video to a DVD. Using the Video Import Wizard, you can tell Windows to download your video and to create a DVD at the same time.
With a blank recordable DVD in you DVD burner and with the camera attached to your computer, turn the camera on and set it to play the recorded video. In the Import Video Wizard that appears, type a name for the video, select the location where you want to store the video file, and select the video format you want. Click Next.
Select this option to download the video and burn it to a DVD.
If you want to end the transfer before the entire tape has been transferred, click Stop.
Wait for the DVD to be completed, and then remove it and make sure that the content of the DVD is the way you want it.
