POURING TECHNIQUES

There are several techniques to experiment with when pouring paint. Each technique is unique, so try them all to discover your own favorites. Over the next few pages, I’ve featured basic examples of what some of the most popular pours look like, as well as a brief description of each. It is important to make sure that when working on a larger surface, you mix enough paint to cover the entire surface. If you go overboard and have more than enough paint mixed in the end, no worries—you can create a few acrylic paint skins to use in future projects.
