DRIP, FLICK & DOT

This easy creative prompt is sure to inspire your child to want to create. Making random marks with a paintbrush is a fun activity for kids, and there’s no need to overthink the process. Encourage kids to get creative using a paintbrush in different ways and by adding more water and paint to the brush. Tapping the end of the brush over the paper will create paint splatters.

Explore galore! There is no right or wrong way to drip, flick, and dot, allowing your children to be as creative as possible!

Have your child set up a creative space by laying down a sheet of wax paper or a vinyl tablecloth with a piece of scrap paper on top. Then your child can choose a few paint colors and dab a bit of each on a paint palette or paper plate.
