In the following example, we will learn how to generate visualizations for selected fields:

1. We can select the fields we want on our sheet using the panel in the right-hand side of the screen. Alternatively, we can also type the field name or a sentence in the Insight search field, as follows:

2. Here, we select the CompanyName button to see several visualizations related to any particular company name. We can see that the selected field name is added to our search box in the following screenshot:

3. Now, we type Country into the Insights search field. As we do this, we see a list of fields matching the criteria. Select Country from this list, as shown in the following screenshot:

Several visualizations with a combination of CompanyName and Country, along with other fields, are created. Visualizations that only have the two fields are also created.

4. Let's scroll down and add two more visualizations. Add each one to the My first charts sheet using the Add to sheet button: 
   • The 'Country' by 'countdistinct(CompanyName)' visualization is as follows:

• • The Distribution of 'sum(SalesAmount)' for 'Country' visualization is as follows: 

The Insights Advisor suggests some interesting visualizations, combining fields that we would never think could be combined. 

We can select fields and Master items if we are working in an unpublished application on Qlik Sense Enterprise or Qlik Sense Desktop. We can only select Master items if we are using a published application on a stream.

We can also interact with the insight visualizations before adding them to the sheet. When we select a visualization, it expands and allows us to interact with it. Selections on the selected chart will carry over to other insight visualizations on the page, as well as visualizations that are already added to the sheet.
