When you use the following operations while loading data from the QVD, it is called non-optimized load:

• Adding a new field
• Use of any expression/calculation in a field
• Retrieving fields twice
• Joins using QVD

The non-optimized load doesn't improve load time at all; instead, it may increase the data load time.
