Click the Start button, choose Connect To from the Start menu, and click Set Up A Connection Or Network to start the Connect To A Network Wizard.

Choose Set Up A Dial-Up Connection, and click Next.

Enter the connection information you received from the ISP.

Click Dialing Rules, and, in the Location Information dialog box that appears, enter your location information and any access codes you need. Click OK when you’ve finished.

Select this check box if you want your password to be filled in automatically whenever you use this connection.

Name the connection.

Select this check box if you’re willing to share the connection with anyone who has a user account on this computer.

Click Connect to try out the connection.

Click the Start button, choose Control Panel from the Start menu, click Network And Internet, and then click Internet Options to display the Internet Properties dialog box.

On the Connections tab, if you have more than one connection, select the one you want to use.

Click Set Default.

Specify when you want the connection to be used.

Click Settings, and, in the Dial-Up Settings section of the Settings dialog box that appears, click Advanced to display the Advanced Dial-Up dialog box.

Specify how many times you want the number to be redialed if the connection can’t be made, and how long to wait between redialings.

Select the check boxes you want to use to control automatic disconnect.

Click OK in the Advanced Dial-Up dialog box and in the Settings dialog box.

Click OK in the Internet Properties dialog box.
