Response Patterns for Each Builder Type

As you compare your response pattern to the Builder Personality Quiz you took in chapter 1 to the patterns shown in the following section, please keep in mind some of points of context:

• There is a wide variety in response to these questions even within a Builder Personality. Here we are providing just the archetype patterns to give you a point of comparison for your pattern so you can see which one you tend to be most like. The archetype patterns also provide you with a higher-level view of how each of the four factors separates each type from the others.
• Do not be concerned if your pattern does not tightly match one of the archetypes shown here because the quiz in the book is a simplified version of the one you will find on our website, in which seven of the questions have a 7-point response scale, rather than the simplified 3-point scale here. The more granular response scale measures your beliefs and preferences with greater resolution and thereby predicts your Builder Type with greater accuracy.
• The full-response-scale version of the quiz, available on our website (www.builtforgrowth.com), has more than one billion response combinations across these questions, which is why the most accurate way to discover your type is to go to the site and complete the quiz with the full scale.
