About the Contributing Authors
Byron Holt, CISSP and an IT professional for over 20 years, has been a lead SMS and Configuration Manager engineer for several Global 5000 corporations and was part of the Active Directory and Enterprise Manageability support teams while working at Microsoft. Byron’s experience includes software development, security architecture, and systems management. He currently works for McAfee as an infrastructure and process security architect. Byron coauthored System Center Configuration Manager 2012 Unleashed (2014).
Garth Jones, Enterprise and Client Manager MVP, is Chief Architect at Enhansoft, an Ottawa-based company that develops products and services to extend the value of System Center Configuration Manager. Garth started working with the product in 1996, when it was known as SMS. He is the founder of the Ottawa Windows Server User Group and its associated study group. Garth was the lead author of System Center Configuration Manager Reporting Unleashed (2016).
