Users with the admin role will notice additional functionality available within the dashboard. An Admin panel can be seen on the left-hand side of the dashboard, which allows users with the admin role to manipulate subnets outside of their respective project.
To create a subnet in the dashboard as a cloud administrator, login as the admin user and perform the following steps:
- Navigate to Admin | Network | Networks, and click on the name of the network you wish to add a subnet to:
- Clicking on MyVLANNetwork provides a list of details of the network, including the associated subnets and ports in their respective panels:
- To add a subnet to the network, click on the Subnet tab and click on the Create Subnet button on the right-hand side:
- A wizard will appear that allows you to define the properties of the new subnet:
- Clicking Next reveals additional configuration options:
- Click on the blue Create button to complete the creation of the subnet. The Subnets panel will be updated accordingly:
