Acknowledgments

I've learned recently that it takes a lot of time and dedication to write a book, but it also takes a lot of support. I need to thank my technical reviewers, contributors, editors, and several friends at Microsoft for answering those annoying little questions that only someone at Microsoft could answer.

I also want to thank my family, Daniel and Nicolas, for allowing me to spend late evenings at a computer instead of with them—and, of course, my Mom and Dad, who gave me the foundation that would some day allow me to fulfill my dream of getting my name on the cover of a book. I also thank everyone at my office who understood why my door was closed more often than usual, especially Michelle for helping with some little marketing efforts that I always needed help with.

Finally, I want to thank Al and Amy for first recognizing my potential to write an insightful book on Internet Information Services, and Leah for guiding me through it.
