The final leg of your Calculus I journey ends here, in the strange sea of differential equations, a churning whirlpool of complicated mathematics. Not to worry—as a calculus student, you won’t dive headfirst into the whirlpool so much as just dip your big toe in.

Why end with differential equations? They are an extension of everything you’ve worked on so far. They are literally equations containing derivatives that you will solve using integration. All your preparation is about to pay off!
