It is best to do things systematically, since we are only human, and disorder is our worst enemy.
—Hesiod
Once you have decided which 360-degree feedback method to use—questionnaires, interviews, or a combination of the two—you will need to think about how to administer the process efficiently and with the least disruption to your organization. This is an important consideration, although many organizations do not give it much thought until they have actually embarked on the process. The success of the feedback initiative, the quality of the feedback, and participants’ motivation to translate their data into action will depend on the extent to which everyone understands the purpose of the 360 project, how the data will be used and who will see it, what they need to do, how to do it, and when to do it.
