7 Editing Raw Files

All professional cameras and many others can provide us with more than common JPEGs or TIFFs. We can access the camera’s raw capture data. Although Photoshop cannot directly edit this raw data, we can do so with Adobe Camera Raw, a companion to Photoshop, or with Lightroom, Photoshop’s photo asset–managing cousin.
