The Layers feature is so integral to Photoshop that to ignore it is to essentially not use Photoshop. With the many kinds of layers offered, we can achieve our creative goals and do so nondestructively. That is, we can revisit a project many times and quickly make the changes we, or our clients, demand without having to start over.
