Periodic Message Block
This pattern is similar to Periodic Error (Volume 3, page 344) but not limited to errors or failure reports. One such example we recently encountered is when some adjoint activity (such as messages from specific PID, Volume 5, page 283) stops appearing after the middle of the trace and after that there are repeated blocks of similar messages (Volume 6, page 251) from different PIDs with their threads checking some condition (waiting for an event and reporting timeouts):
