Storing datasets in the account and joining them to other tabular data is possible using MapboxGL—Jupyter and the Mapbox Python SDK. Loading a GeoJSON file requires specific permissions assigned only to secret API access tokens. To ensure that the API token used has the correct scope, you may have to generate a new API token. Go to your Account Dashboard and generate a new token, and ensure that you check the read and write capabilities for uploads and datasets as shown in the Getting started with Mapbox section.
