About the Authors

Don Bokmiller is a CAD/BIM manager at Clark Nexsen Architecture and Engineering in Norfolk, Virginia. He has worked in the AE design industry since 1996 when he started out as a CAD technician in the electrical department. He eventually became one of a few CAD managers as the company grew, while also participating as an electrical designer on several projects. When Revit Systems came along, he participated in the Autodesk Beta program and has continued to do so for each release. His current position is to optimize the company's use of Revit MEP. Don has also worked as an application specialist for Inlet Technology, an Autodesk reseller, where he supported clients of various size and company structure on their use of Revit MEP. He has taught classes and given presentations to local engineering organizations. Don is an AUGI member and attends Autodesk University whenever possible.

About the Authors

Marvin Titlow has been working for mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering firms since 1988. He started working for Michael Brady Inc. in 2004 as a plumbing/fire protection designer. In 2006 he began working with Revit MEP in beta and soon discovered that this was going to be a game changer. In 2008 he was promoted to technologies/BIM manager. Marvin has taught hundreds of plumbing designers how to get started with Revit MEP through teaching seminars and webinars for the American Society of Plumbing Engineers, as well as taught numerous mechanical engineering firms in Knoxville, Tennessee, how to use Revit MEP. Marvin has also had the pleasure of lecturing on the topics of BIM and Revit MEP at the Tennessee AIA convention in 2007 and at AUGI in 2008.

About the Authors

Simon Whitbread has been using Revit since release 5.1 and has over 25 years experience in Building Services and Architectural industries. Since the early 1990's he has been involved in developing and managing CAD and IT Systems for a number of companies while also teaching a variety of CAD classes to students at all levels of age and experience. He led the Revit implementation at JASMAX, one of New Zealand's leading architectural practices; trained and supported Revit MEP customers at an Autodesk reseller; and now provides Revit implementation, training, and support for Beca, a multinational, multi-service company.
