Chapter 15. Monitoring, Analyzing, and Controlling Network Traffic

THIS CHAPTER COVERS THE MONITORING, ANALYZING, and quality of service (QoS) support available to the Linux network operating system. The tools covered in this chapter are open source and freely available to Linux network administrators. Most tools available for network monitoring support various node types, from Linux servers and routers to high-end core routers and switches.
