About the Contributors

Jon McFarland is an adjunct faculty member at two colleges where he teaches AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Revit, and several other courses to students seeking degrees in Visual Communications, Interior Design, and Construction Management. He also writes and edits books on a variety of technical subjects. Jon lives in Cleveland, Ohio, with his wife and two sons.

Nick Poznick is a lighter at Radium in Santa Monica, California. He worked previously at Speedshape in Detroit, modeling and lighting CG environments. Nick also has an interest in dynamics and other visual effects, has created fluid pipelines, and headed up projects involving such techniques as weather effects for various clientele.
