Phishing URLs are a form of attack that steals sensitive data, such as personally identifiable information (PII), by either luring the user or disguising the URL as a legitimate or trustworthy URL. Phishing is usually carried out through emails or instant messages, and directs users to fake websites by disguising the URLs as legitimate ones, as shown in the following screenshot:
