Each step, from the registration of a Google Apps account to the activation of Gmail and the Postini services, has been described. The most important tasks to master for an administrator are account and group creation and granting appropriate rights to various user categories. Only a few concepts need to be understood, like the "owner" or "member" of a group. Knowing how to manage groups within Google Apps is important to create mailing lists and for granting specific rights (read, update for Google Calendar, Google Sites, Google Docs) to certain categories of users.
