Four means of advanced integration for the Google Apps have been presented: the APIs, which allow external applications to access data handled by the Google Apps; the Secure Data Connector that, conversely, allows Google Apps services to access enterprise data behind a firewall; the Google App Engine that can host web apps on Google's software and hardware infrastructure and, finally, the Google gadgets that are mini web apps that can be embedded in other web pages.
