Predix uses a sophisticated OAuth2 mechanism to protect both data and access. It is not possible to work with Predix without configuring security measures. The first step is to configure the User Account and Authentication (UAA) service. From Predix's catalog (which can be found at https://www.predix.io), we have to subscribe to the UAA service by clicking on it and then clicking on the Subscribe button:

We can then configure the name of our UAA and the administrator password:
