Configuring Routers

Cisco routers and multilayer switches can be configured to do some pretty amazing things. However, before a router can perform the magic it does so well, some basic configurations (such as configuring IP addresses and enabling the interfaces) must be in place, or the router will not function.

This chapter covers such configurations. Specifically, this chapter covers the following topics:
