Events are one of the most critical components in most AngularJS applications. Events enable users to interact with elements as well as the application to know when to perform certain tasks. This chapter discusses different types of events that you have and will be working within your AngularJS applications to provide a perspective and introduce you to some new topics.
Specifically, this chapter discusses four types of events, including browser events, user interaction events, scope-based events, and custom events. You have already been introduced to some of this in previous chapters. The reason this is positioned here is that the previous chapters give perspective to the discussion here.
