In this chapter you learned about the basics of the client-side runtime with the ScriptManager control and the core type system of the Microsoft AJAX Library.
By now you should understand the basics of object-oriented JavaScript programming with the Microsoft AJAX Library’s type system and be able to write simple JavaScript class definitions. In the following chapters we’ll build on this foundation as we continue to explore the Microsoft AJAX Library and learn how to write components, behaviors, and controls using Microsoft’s framework.
