In this chapter we examined XSLT support by using methods from the Microsoft AJAX Library as well as custom code and native browser support for XSLT. Using these techniques, we developed a custom control class that implements XML loading and XSLT operations, and we looked at a real-world use of XmlControl for a navigational control in the wiki application.

At this point, you should be able to implement XSLT rendering in your own JavaScript components based on Sys.UI.Control. In the next chapter, I’ll expand on XmlControl and navigation as we look at navigation and history support in the Microsoft AJAX Library.
