Challenges

For those of you who want to do more with this project, there are still plenty of things you can do, especially after finishing the rest of this book. Here are some ideas to get your mind thinking:

  • Depending on what platform you'd like to place the title on, you'll need to have the proper module installed (which was introduced in Unity 5.3). If you have not installed it yet, feel free to run your Unity installation again including the platforms you'd like to support. For help on getting your projects onto Android, check out http://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/android-GettingStarted.html. For iOS, check out http://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/iphone-GettingStarted.html. Do note that in order to publish it on iOS, Apple may charge additional fees.
  • Once you finish the next chapter and learn about iTween, add in a Get Ready and Game Over screen that will fly or fade in to add more polish to the title.
  • In addition, you can add an additional text object that will tell you to tap or press the mouse depending on what platform you are on using defines. To see some examples on that, check out http://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/PlatformDependentCompilation.html.
