TIMED_OS_STATISTICS (Oracle8 Only)
Synopsis
Values:OFF, CALL, or LOGOFF
Default:OFF
Instructs the server when to collect operating system statistics. If the value of this parameter is CALL, operating system statistics are gathered at every push or pop call. Because this option implies significant overhead, however, it should be used with caution. If the value is LOGOFF, operating system statistics are gathered when the user logs off from an Oracle session. If the value is OFF, no operating system statistics are gathered. Note that operating system statistics are gathered only if the TIMED_STATISTICS parameter is set to TRUE.
