Limits the maximum size of trace files to be written by Oracle. This limit should be changed if there is a concern that trace files may take up too much space. MAX_DUMP_FILE_SIZE can be set in the form of a number, or a number followed by the suffix “K” or “M”. A number specifies the maximum size in operating system blocks; a number followed by a “K” or “M” suffix specifies the file size in kilobytes or megabytes, respectively. This parameter can also be set to the value string UNLIMITED, meaning that there is no upper limit on the trace file size.
