Synopsis
Values:2 to 255
Default:255
Multiple Instances:Must have the same value
Specifies the maximum log group number. This value specifies the maximum number of redo log files that can be opened at runtime for the database, and sets the upper limit on the group numbers that can be specified when issuing log-related commands. Reduce the value only if SGA space is needed and there are fewer redo log files than the current value of LOG_FILES.
