About the Reviewers

Thorsten Harbig was born on August 30, 1977. He grew up at Lake Constance in the Southern part of Germany. After high school, he started studying physics at the University of Constance. While there, his interest in programming and software development drove him towards studying computer sciences instead. Working on his Diploma thesis, he spent seven months abroad at the University in Ghent (Belgium). Two years later, he finished his Master's degree about energy savings on mobile phones at the Aalborg University in Denmark. In 2006, Thorsten started working for LogicLine, a software consulting company in Sindelfingen near Stuttgart (Germany). In his daily work, he is a Java specialist for an internationally-active corporation in the automotive industry. From time to time, he teaches JEE courses and is eager to use new technologies. At the moment, he is fond of Groovy and its frameworks.

Thorsten Harbig was married on December 27, 2007 and has a son. He enjoys martial arts, role playing games, and geocaching.

Jettro Coenradie is a software architect and developer for 12 years now. He has gained a lot of experience in enterprise Java while working for large organizations in finance, transport, and government. Jettro is always looking for new technologies to help him meet the challenges of customers. This is how he got involved with Spring framework, OSGi, Flex, Grails, and the Axon framework. A big part of his enthusiasm for new technologies is reflected by sharing his knowledge through presentations at conferences, writing articles, and maintaining a blog together along with a few others.

Jettro is currently the Chief Architect at JTeam B.V, a Java software house situated in the Netherlands.
