Seth Maislin is an Information Architecture and Indexing Consultant, specializing in the construction of usable web-based and knowledge hierarchies.

He is an adjunct professor at Bentley College; an instructor at Middlesex Community College; an IA and Indexing Trainer at nSight, Inc.; and the former integration manager at Terra Lycos. His company is Focus Information Services.

He provides information architecture, navigation, usability, indexing, content analysis, and other consulting services, presents regularly at conferences, and indexes books and web documents. Seth has written several articles for professional print and online periodicals; many are republished here.

Seth serves as elected director of the American Society of Indexers and participates in many of its technology subgroups. He is also Webmaster for STC's Indexing Special Interest Group. Past projects include indexing America Online, building content directories for Lycos.com and its partners, cataloguing clip art for Mattel, and indexing Microsoft's official product web sites.

Scott Abel is a Web Content Strategist and Technical Writing Consultant for Nims Associates, Inc. Scott helps clients move form document to content management, create usable Internet, intranet, and extranet sites, online help systems, and software documentation.
