Azure Database audits

A very powerful tool for troubleshooting is the Azure Database audit logs. You can review the basic logs by looking at the Activity log:

The Activity log provides very valuable information in retracing the activities that have been performed. Another option is to leverage the advanced logs that are available, which we can obtain by enabling Server logs, as shown in the following screenshot. First, go to the logs settings, and then click on Click here to enable logs and configure log parameters:

For our example, we will enable monitoring for performance issues by enabling the log_slow... statements, as shown in the following screenshot:
