In that case, Multi regional or Regional storage will not be an ideal choice and will be an expensive option. Cloud storage provides another storage class called Nearline storage that can solve the earlier issue. It is a low-cost, storage service for storing less frequently accessed data. Nearline Storage is a better choice than Multi-Regional Storage or Regional Storage in scenarios where slightly lower availability is required. For example, you do some analytics once a month on the data collected throughout the month. It ensures 99.0% availability SLA^* .

Nearline Storage is also better suited for data backup, disaster recovery, and archival storage. Note, however, that for data accessed less frequently than once a year, Coldline Storage is the most cost-effective choice, as it offers the lowest storage costs.
