Synopsis

Values:TRUE or FALSE

Default:FALSE

Disables or enables the SQL Trace facility. Setting this parameter to TRUE provides information on tuning that can be used to improve performance. Because the SQL Trace facility causes system overhead, however, the database should be run with the facility only when it is important to collect statistics. The value of this parameter can also be changed using the DBMS_SYSTEM built-in package.
