Synopsis
Values:TRUE or FALSE
Default:FALSE
Specifies whether Oracle allows the operating system to identify each username’s roles. If the value of this parameter is TRUE, when a user attempts to create a session, the username’s security domain is initialized using the roles identified by the operating system. If this parameter is set to FALSE, the database identifies and manages roles.
