ALLOW_PARTIAL_SN_RESULTS
Values: TRUE or FALSE
Default: FALSE
Multiple Instances: Should have the same value
A Parallel Server parameter that allows queries to global performance tables (GV$) to return partial results, even if a slave could not be allocated on the instance. If the value of MAX_PARALLEL_SERVERS equals 0, a query on the global performance table reverts to a sequential query on the local instance. If the value of MAX_PARALLEL_SERVERS is greater than and a slave cannot be allocated on an instance in a GV$ query, then whether the query returns partial results or a failure is determined by the value of ALLOW_PARTIAL_SN_RESULTS. If ALLOW_PARTIAL_SN_RESULTS is TRUE, the query succeeds and returns results from all instances that were able to allocate a slave for the query. If ALLOW_PARTIAL_SN_RESULTS is FALSE, the query fails and returns an error message.
