BETTER – TAPPING INTO POTENTIAL

“Tapping into your potential” is a phrase you've probably heard many times before, but what does it mean and how does it connect to Better? In many ways, it's simple mathematics. If I'm only using 60 percent of my potential right now, and I tap into some of the remaining 40 percent, it's sure to mean an uplift in output. Whether it's gaining access to specific skill sets or more abstract attitudes and emotions, the additional capacity will no doubt enable us to both respond better to our challenges and perform better in the moments that matter.

Why start here though? Without tapping into your potential, you can't unlock the superhuman within. Potential is where your superhuman resides and when you can access that at will, you have the ability to improve your performance in any area of life.

Throughout the chapters in this part of the book, I share a series of performance hacks that will help you tap into unutilised potential and set you on your own path towards becoming Unashamedly Superhuman.

Let's start in Chapter 3 by exploring exactly what potential means and, more importantly, how you can tap into it reliably and consistently, whenever you need to.
