Writer/producer Sharon Rapose was a BAFTA LA Newcomer in 2014/2015. She produced auteur Joanna Hogg’s Exhibition, which received five stars in The Times and The Guardian. Sharon’s short film Konnichiwa Brick Lane has played around the world from Tokyo to Berlin, including the Oscar-qualifying Tampere Film Festival, BAFTA-qualifying Aesthetica Short Film Festival and was distributed internationally. She has a Masters with Merit in International Development from the University of London, and graduated from the Professional Programs in Screenwriting and Writing for Television at UCLA. Sharon has taught television writing as a post-graduate TA at the UCLA Department of Film, TV and Digital Media and edited Neil Landau’s book TV Outside the Box: Trailblazing in the Digital Television Revolution. Previously, she worked for the United Nations; her scripts have social justice at their heart. Sharon’s short screenplay The Silent Waltz was a Finalist in the 2017 Austin Screenwriting Competition and she won a 2017 John Brabourne Award.

Roxanne Beck is a Los Angeles-based screenwriter and children’s book author. A graduate of UCLA’s MFA in Screenwriting (2013), her awards there included a Humanitas Drama Fellowship nomination for her one-hour sci-fi pilot The Intenders, the Four Sisters Award for Comedy or Animation and the Oliver’s Prize for Best Family or Animated Screenplay. Roxanne wrote the adaptation for the short dramedy Miss Famous, starring Kristen Wiig and executive produced by James Franco; the film was an official selection at six festivals, including the prestigious Palm Springs International Shortfest, and was chosen for the Tribeca Film Festival’s inflight content for United Airlines. Alice Dennard is a Los Angeles-based TV writer who specializes in stories about glamorous women up to no good. She has received recognition such as the Rett Nearburg Fellowship for outstanding work in media, the Jack K. Sauter Award for artistic merit in television and was given the title of Young Master in Performance and Media Arts by the Texas Commission on the Arts. Alice received her BFA in Film and Video Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art and worked under famed Baltimore casting director Pat Moran. While receiving her MFA in screenwriting at UCLA, Alice’s half-hour comedy, People Like Us, was awarded “Best TV Comedy” in the 2016 Screenwriter’s Showcase. Her work has been featured in many juried screenings and shows, including exhibitions at the Lawndale Art Center and the Contemporary Arts Museum of Houston. Most recently Alice’s half-hour pilot Junked was featured as part of the FEEDBACK Female Film Festival. Most days you can find Alice wrapped in a leopard coat and talking about Dolly Parton.
