The emergence of containerized clouds

With the growing tool ecosystem of Kubernetes, setting up and sustaining containerized cloud environments are being greatly simplified and streamlined. With the emergence of configuration management (CM) tools, such as Chef, Puppet, and Ansible, and cloud orchestration tools, such as Terraform, the concept of infrastructure as code (IaC) is gaining a lot of attention and attraction. The automated provisioning of IT resources (bare metal server, virtual machine, and containers), application delivery and deployment, configuration, management, and placement eases the accelerated realization of appropriate cloud infrastructures for efficiently running platforms and applications to guarantee business productivity. Containers and Kubernetes can run on OpenStack clouds and directly on bare metal (BM) servers. The amalgamation of OpenStack and Kubernetes platform solutions brings forth a litany of business and technological benefits for the future of cloud environments (local as well as remote).

Thus, the combination of microservices, containers, and container orchestration platforms in association with multi-cloud environments (edge, private, public, and hybrid) is to lead to competent and cognitive IT that can easily fulfil the evolving business requirements in an adroit fashion. Thus, the resilient and elastic infrastructure lays out a stimulating and sparkling foundation for realizing and running reliable systems. The onset of containers is a good sign for fulfilling the dream of reliable infrastructures.
