There are four roles you can assign to a user or group, where the rights of each next role include the rights of the previous roles as well:
- Readers are able to list all packages in a feed and can download them.
- Collaborators are also able to use packages from upstream sources.
- Contributors can also publish their own packages and unlist and deprecate packages.
- Finally, owners have full control over the feed and can also change permissions, rename, or delete the feed.
To change the permission of a user, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Permissions view that you can see in the following screenshot. In this view, you can see a list of every user or group that has permissions assigned:
- To remove permissions, select the row and click on Delete.
- To add a new row, click on the add button. This will open the view you see to the right.
As an alternative to adding users or groups as a reader on the whole feed, it is also possible to create one or more views on the feed and set access rights per view.
