As briefly mentioned in the recipe Adding a date component discussed in Chapter 4, Discovering More Components, we can vastly improve the user interface for date component's input.
Let us go to the project home page to download and install the Date module: http://drupal.org/project/date.
The Date module carries a lot of diverse functionalities. For Webform to use the date selection pop-up, we need to enable both the Date API and Date Popup modules.
