Section 2 – A Deep Dive into Comet
In this section, you will learn some advanced concepts behind Comet, related to experiments, models, and panels, as well as some basic strategies to use Comet in Java and R (Chapter 4, Workspaces, Projects, Experiments, and Models).
You will also learn how to use Comet to implement the last two steps of a data science project life cycle: how to transform your data into a story (Chapter 5, Building a Narrative in Comet), and how to deploy your data science project into a deployed product (Chapter 6, Integrating Comet into DevOps, and Chapter 7, Extending the GitLab DevOps Platform with Comet).
To get more familiar with the described concepts, you will be guided to implement some advanced use cases, through step-by-step and commented examples in Python, as well as some basic examples in Java and R.
The main focus of this section is to enable you to work with all the advanced features provided by Comet.
