In this chapter, we learned how to develop an Ajax application in Eclipse. We compiled and packaged the application with the Maven build tool and deployed the application to WildFly 8.1. We ran the Ajax application in a browser with the MySQL database. We discussed only some of the methods and attributes of the XMLHttpRequest object.
