Unicode Consortium (www.unicode.org)—All things Unicode. You will find basic information, explanations of Unicode, code charts, sample scripts and characters, and information about the Common Locale Data Repository, as well as the history of Unicode.

Internationalization (I18n), Localization (L10n), Standards, and Amusements (www.i18nguy.com/)—Good overall site for finding items related to internationalization.

ISO (www.iso.org/iso/home.html)—Contains international and national standards for business, government, and society.

CIA World Factbook (https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/)—Collection of basic information on countries and regions throughout the world. Besides a brief introduction and a map, there is information about the geography, people, government, economy, communications, transportation, and several other categories.

Languages of the World (www.ethnologue.com/)—Resources to help you with your research of the world’s languages.

Time Zone Converter (www.timezoneconverter.com/cgi-bin/tzc.tzc/)—Great site for all things time zone. Site includes time zones of the world and time zones for each country, as well as a time zone calculator.

Apple Developer Forums (https://discussions.apple.com/community/developer_forums)—Forum monitored by Apple itself. Specifically for discussing iOS development.

Apple Developer Site for Internationalization (https://developer.apple.com/internationalization/)—Categorized forum for specific internationalization issues and questions.

Stack Overflow (http://stackoverflow.com)—Community Q&A site. Many experienced programmers are very responsive on this site. Has a great searchable history for Objective-C questions.

NSHipster (http://nshipster.com)—Lives up to its slogan: “A journal of the overlooked bits in Objective-C, Swift, and Cocoa.” Always sound and thorough articles on internationalization and localization functionality.

Distimo (www.distimo.com/)—Stats, trends, and case studies on how localization and internationalization improved sales and downloads.
