ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Rob Goffee, is Professor of Organisational Behaviour at the London Business School. An internationally respected authority on organizational transformation, he has published ten books and more than fifty articles in scholarly and managerial journals. He is a frequent contributor to newspapers and magazines and has appeared as a guest on many radio and television programs on business issues. In addition, he consults with a number of large corporations on organizational change, corporate culture, board governance, and management development.

Gareth Jones, is a visiting professor at INSEAD and a Fellow of the Centre for Management Development at London Business School. He was Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources at Poly-Gram and, later, Director of Human Resources and Internal Communications at the BBC. His articles have appeared in the European Management Journal, Human Relations, and the Harvard Business Review. His research and consulting interests are in the areas of culture, leadership, and change.

Together, Goffee and Jones are the authors of “The Character of a Corporation” and the McKinsey prize-winning article “Why Should Anyone Be Led by You?” published in the Harvard Business Review. They are the founding partners of Creative Management Associates, which has worked with some of the world’s leading organizations on issues of corporate culture, organizational design, and leadership development.
